B105’s Annual Radiothon Helps Raise $1 Million For St. Jude

Another St. Jude Radiothon is in the books! You probably know that every single year, we hold a two-day Radiothon to raise money for the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

It's a long and rewarding few days. We are on the air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on each day of the event, this year kicking off on Thursday (March 5th) and concluding late on Friday (March 6th).

We could not have done it without our incredible sponsors and the community, who not only listen along and root for us along the way, but for those that became a Partner In Hope to help support the cause.

It was an incredible year and this year, things were a bit different. We teamed up with other St. Jude Radiothons coast to coast to raise money for the kids at St. Jude. It doesn't matter how we do it - it just matters that we do!

Like I said, this was an incredible few days filled with uplifting stories and a lot of community support. Thank you to Tara, Harold and the entire Ankrum family, along with the community for raising $37K this year alone for the kids at St. Jude. So incredible!

I also want to give another shoutout to Justin Gower. The Northlander wrapped up his sixth fundraising for the cause, raising an insane $20K for the kids at St. Jude. He just keeps raising more and more each year and we are so thankful. Thank you!

So how much did we raise? Drumroll, please. Together, with other radio stations around the country also hosting their annual St. Jude Radiothons this week, we raised $1,051,367 dollars! It was an incredibly successful St. Jude Radiothon.
