Producer With Minnesota Ties Blends Humor And Crime In New Film ‘Rolling’

I definitely am adding this one to my 'must watch' list! A movie producer with major Minnesota ties is part of a new movie that just dropped late last month. You'll want to watch this as soon as possible.

You might recognize him by name, as he's made quite a name for himself in the movie industry and has some big ties to our neck of the woods.

Robert Enriquez has worked on a handful of movies in our region over the past few years, most recently on the thriller Stone Creek Killer. The movie follows a small town police chief searching for a serial killer while also trying to prove his own innocence.

Robert directed the movie, which starred Clayne Crawford, a well-known actor in Hollywood. The movie was filmed in Chisholm, which is the very best part! Robert has grown to love the area - and even purchased a local bakery there in recent years.

He is very passionate about helping the Minnesota movie business grow and loved our of the woods so much, he bought the Black Bear Bakery & Cafe in Chisholm! They recently opened a second location in Hibbing.

We love having these fun Hollywood connections right here in Minnesota! Now, Robert has released yet another new project. This one is called Rolling and it is officially on Amazon Prime right now.

Not only did Robert produce the movie, but he also has a role in the film! He plays an evil and shady landlord. You can check out a clip below but please note, there is a bad word in it so definitely don't watch if you're at work. Ha!

The film is set in Los Angeles and is a crime comedy. It centers around an overworked mechanic named Alice who confronts her landlord, along with her girlfriend, while he's on a yacht. He is accidentally killed and the two run off.
