Guy Fieri has become a household name over the years and for good reason! He is basically the face of the Food Network and he has earned it, making us hungry for what feels like decades.
His most famous show, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, has been on the air for nearly two decades, premiering in April of 2007. The show is often referred to as Triple D and has become a cult classic over the years.
Recently, his spinoff Triple D Nation came to Duluth to feature one of my favorites! The show revisits spots that have been featured on Triple D to see what they are up to and what has changed.
They circled back to Northern Waters Smokehaus and the episode aired last month. It's a great show for those that love the original hit and has the same fun flair with Guy Fieri that we love.

Guy Fieri's favorite spot that's been featured on his show in Minnesota? It's not a huge surprise - he really seems to love this place! It's Pizzeria Lola in Minneapolis. He has often talked about this spot and raves about it any chance he gets.

He chose the sausage and pepperoni pizza to highlight on the show and it seems it was so good, it stuck with him because he picked it as the best food at the best spot that's been featured in the Land Of 10,000 Lakes.
My coworker went to Pizzeria Lola and gave his honest review of it after hearing Guy Fieri talk about it so much. I love all pizza so I can't see myself not liking it but I will have to go and try for myself!
