REVIEW: Testing Out The New McDonald’s Dirty Soda
One thing about me? If there is a fun drink on the menu, I will be trying it. I always love to have a little something to sip on whether it is a soda, an iced coffee or a tea of some sort.
A few years ago, I had never heard of a 'dirty soda' at all. However, now they seem to be all the rage these days! I learned about the trend from watching the Hulu show The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives.

Whenever I am watching that show, I instantly crave a dirty soda because they are CONSTANTLY drinking one. I mean, they are drinking one in almost every single scene.
A dirty soda, by the way, is a soda with different flavors in it and sometimes a topping as well. They really are so good and have so many different combinations.
Recently I learned that McDonald's was rolling out a new line of drinks for those that want a little sweet treat at the end of the day. Among these new offerings is a dirty soda. This particular combination is a Dr. Pepper with vanilla flavor and a cold foam on top.

This is their only dirty soda offering for now and I knew I had to try it. A minute after learning they had it, I made my way to my nearest McDonald's to try it out. So what did I think of it?
I have to say...this Dirty Dr. Pepper was incredible! It was about four bucks for a medium, which is a little steep considering how fast it goes down. However, it was the perfect ratio of flavors and perfect for a little afternoon pick-me-up.

I would give it a nine out of ten and on a hot summer day, I would probably give it a ten out of ten. I know a few local places also offer up dirty sodas and I need to try those as well. They have more options and combinations so I will be doing that in the very near future when I need my dirty soda fix.
McDonald's is also offering some other fun drinks along with this new addition, like a few fruity refresher options, an orange dream drink and a Sprite Berry Blast. I will have to try them all!
