People are very particular about their water. They like sparkling water or still water and some like it room temperature. I like mine with a ton of ice.

People are very particular when it comes to which type of bottled water they drink. In fact, some people are very passionate about it!

Then, of course, people are particular when it comes to where they get their water. Some people love tap water and others hate it. I don't really care either way.

Minneapolis Has The Best Tap Water In The State

Minneapolis just took the title of having the best tap water in the state. It was up against fourteen other cities in the state in the 'Best In Glass' competition. I love a good pun! The competition happened during the American Water Work Association's conference in Duluth.

According to FOX 9, other cities that made the finals included my hometown of Shoreview, Chaska and St. Cloud. More than 100 people tested the tap water samples without knowing where the samples were from.

When the finalists were decided, the winner was chosen by a handful of water industry professionals. Minneapolis has won once before in 2023. Bloomington won last year. The more you know!

Minneapolis will now move onto the nationals. (Yes, there is a national tap water competition. Who knew?!) We will have to wait awhile to see if Minnesota wins the whole thing. The next competition takes place next summer in Washington D.C.

Items BANNED at US Bank Stadium In Minneapolis

US Bank Stadium is massive, featuring a capacity of around 66,000 seats, which can be expanded to 72,000 for major events like the NFL Super Bowl.

With that many people, it’s crucial to have rules and regulations in place to help keep people safe, such as limiting what items can be brought into the stadium.

Below is a list of items banned at the stadium. Of course, it’s always a good idea to double check any special regulations in place for specific events you’re attending.
