Childish Gambino Coming to Minnesota this Fall

After a five-year break from touring, Childish Gambino is hitting the road for a new tour, and released a new album.

The musical project from actor, comedian, Donald Glover, Childish Gambino is a Grammy winning act that rose to fame with the song 'This is America' in 2018, a song that won both Song and Record of the Year Grammys in 2019.

"The New World Tour" starts its run of dates on August 11th in Oklahoma City, it will make its way through North America and Europe, before wrapping up in Perth, Australia on February 11th, 2025.

Childish Gambino will be at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Wednesday, October 2nd at 8 PM, tickets for the show go on sale Friday, May 17th at 10 AM through Ticketmaster. There is also an American Express pre-sale that starts on Wednesday, so check into that if you have access.

Childish Gambino also released a new album called ATAVISTA, which was initially released in 2020, but was removed from streaming services after a week. Glover says that this new version is actually the "the finished version" of the 2020 release.

Glover is an extremely talented person, and his career in TV, movies and music proves that the dude is a force in the entertainment industry, he got his start as a writer for Tina Fey's hit show '30 Rock', he really gained popularity for playing college student Troy Barnes on the NBC sitcom 'Community' from 2009 to 2014. He's gone on to create, produce and direct several projects including 'Atlanta', 'Swarm', and 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' for Prime Video. He also played a young Lando Calrissian in 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'.
