Shriner’s Circus Returns This Saturday For Three Amazing Shows
You know those guys. You've seen them...The older gentlemen wearing the funny, tall red hats in parades. The ones driving tiny go-carts, miniature cars, and making kids and adults alike laugh as they cruise down parade routes.
Yep. Those guys.
WHO ARE THEY?
They're called the Shriners, and while they're famous for entertaining crowds at parades and community events, what many people don't realize is that they spend the rest of the year helping children and families across America in ways that can be truly life-changing.
The Creed of the St. Cloud Area Shrine Club is: 'He achieves success who lives well, laughs often and loves much; who gains the respect of children who fill our niche; who accomplishes his task; who leaves this world better than he found it, whether by an improved flower, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who never lacks appreciation of earth’s beauty or fails to express it; who always sees the best and gives the best he has; whose life is an inspiration; whose memory is a benediction.

ST CLOUD SHRINERS CIRCUS
On Saturday, June 20, the Shriners will bring back the Osman Family Circus for the first time in 37 years to Sports Arena East at the Benton County Fairgrounds with performances at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.
For many families, it will be a fun day filled with laughter, excitement, and memories. For others, it may be a chance to learn more about an organization that quietly helps thousands of children every year.

THANK YOU SHRINERS
I know firsthand what the Shriners do.
When my son was just 2 years old, he needed surgery. Like many parents facing a medical challenge with a young child, we were scared and worried about what the future would hold. The Shriners stepped in and provided the care my son needed at no cost to our family.
It's something I've never forgotten.
HELPING KIDS GET THE CARE THEY NEED
Across the country, Shriners Children's hospitals provide specialized pediatric care for children with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate, burns, and other complex medical needs. Their mission is simple: help kids get the care they need, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
For more than 100 years, Shriners have been supporting children and families through their network of hospitals and healthcare programs. Thousands of families have stories just like mine.
That's why events like the circus mean so much.
RELIVE YOUR CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA AND SHARE A TRADITION
Sure, it's a chance to enjoy a classic family outing. Kids can experience the excitement of the circus, parents can relive a little childhood nostalgia, and everyone gets a few hours to simply have fun together.
But it's also a reminder that behind those famous red fezzes is a group of people dedicated to helping children live healthier, happier lives.
