At any big box store or any grocery store, really, there are a ton of Easter candy available for you to purchase.  All the festive decorations, even towels and other decor is available for your Easter celebration.

WHY IS THERE AN ENTIRE SECTION FOR THESE LITTLE MARSHMALLOW TREATS

What I absolutely don't understand is the fascination with Peeps.  Does anyone actually like these things?  I always hear so many people complaining about them, how awful they are, why would anyone eat these things and on and on.  But still, there are rows and rows of them every year when any holiday rolls around.  But especially when it's Easter time.  I suppose the little chicks.  But seriously, do people just use them as decorations on the day or do people really eat these things?

HERE IS AN IDEA FOR REALLY STALE PEEPS

I had a friend who would buy them every year and let them sit, in the package until the following year and them use them as s'mores.  That's some dedication.  He would swear by them and say how good them were after that whole year, and then heated up with chocolate and graham crackers.

As this may be true, I have questions.  Firsr, how did you discover this?  Because leaving them for an entire year is a bit suspect.  Also - what possessed you do try them as a twist on a favorite - s'mores?  And does one color/flavor make any difference with the taste?  I like marshmallows!  But those peep things with the weird coating, and all of that sugar is just downright not appetizing.

IS THIS JUST HYPE OR DO PEOPLE REALLY LIKE THESE THINGS

Do you like Peeps?  Am I on my own little island here in thinking that these, although cute, are disgusting?  I can't be the only one.

LOOK: 35 Vintage Cereals That Perfectly Captured Pop Culture Moments

Movies and TV shows have always found ways to partner with cereal companies as part of their promotion strategy.
