
St. Charles Man Injured After Hitting Deer Then Semi on I-90
Dover, MN (KROC-AM News)- A St. Charles man was injured after striking a deer then semi truck on Interstate 90 Friday morning.

The crash closed the interstate’s westbound lanes for about an hour. He was the sole occupant of his vehicle.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 6:30 a.m.

St. Charles Man Injured After Hitting Deer Then Semi on I-90 in Olmsted County
The crash occurred about a mile west of the interstate’s Dover interchange. 37-year-old Colin Andrew Sayles was identified as the driver, the State Patrol says.
Sayles was traveling west in a small SUV when he struck the animal. He then collided with a westbound semi truck, according to the state crash report.

The State Patrol says Sayles suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for further care.
55-year-old Christian Michael Brow of Fort Douglass, WI was identified as the truck driver. The State Patrol says he escaped the crash without injuries.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the state crash report.
Eyota Ambulance, the Dover Fire Department, Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
