The Kasson Police Department says the message is similar to the other snapchat messages that were sent out that threatened violence at other schools across the state and country.

On Wednesday, the Plainview-Elgin-Millville School District received a similar threat that led to the searching of students at one of the district’s schools and increased law enforcement presence at all of the district’s schools.
