The call came in shortly before 3 a.m. Seven vehicles were dispatched to the residence.

The fire report came from a home in the 500 block of Zumbro Dr. Northwest. Arriving crews found light smoke throughout the home’s main level but no flames inside of the residence, a news release says.

Firefighters traced the smoke to an area above the stove and found heat coming from that spot. There was no fire extension found.

Crews entered the home with fire extinguishers that they did not use and ventilated the home. Officials described the damage as minimal and said it was contained to the stove area.
