UNDATED (WJON News) -- The filing period for local races that don't hold a primary starts Tuesday.

In St. Joseph, the Mayor's seat is up for election. Longtime Mayor Rick Schultz has already announced he is not seeking re-election. Two men have announced they plan to file to run for the job they are Adam Scepaniak and Jon Hazen. There are two council seats up for election this fall as well, those seats are currently held by Bob Loso and Kellie Beniek.

In Waite Park the Mayor's seat is also up for election. Rick Miller has been the long-time mayor. The two council seats currently held by Mike Linquist and Ken Schmitt are also up for election.

In the Sartell-St. Stephen School District there are three seats on the ballot this fall. Those seats are currently held by Tricia Meling, Matt Moehrle, and Jason Nies.

In the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District, they have four seats up for election. Those seats are currently held by Ryan Butkowski, Mark Hauck, Tracy Morse, and Samantha Dwyer.

The candidate filing period closes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13th.
