This Is The Most Envied School District In Illinois

Some school districts seem to have it really good.

I did not go to school in a good part of my hometown. Meth labs were across the street. I've always wanted to send my kids to good, nicer schools and Illinois has several of the best ones in the state.

Test Prep Insight looked at the 250 most envied school districts in America. They took a survey of 3,000 adults and considered their age, gender, and geography. The study hoped to shine a light on issues like zoning, funding, impact of a district's test scores, and more elements.

Illinois had 3 in the top 100. Here they are.

69. Township High School District No. 211

Located in Palatine, Illinois, Township High School District 211 is one of the largest school districts in Illinois, according to it's website. It has over 12,000 students enrolled. It also has 2 alternative high schools for special needs students. They recently painted a staircase in one school bright yellow and green to help visually impaired students.

51. Township High School District 113

Also in the northern burbs of Chicago is the second most envied Illinois school district, Township High School District 113. Two of it's high schools, Deerfield High School and Highland Park High School, are both nationally ranked, according to the district's website.

31. Northfield Township High School District 225 (Glenbrook High School District)

Illinois' most envied school district is in Glenview (also outside of Chicago) and is also known as Glenbrook High School District 225. The district has about 5,000 students and a North and South side.
