Another Ace Hardware Store is Now Open in Rochester, Minnesota

I got a tip over the weekend that another store might be opening up soon in Rochester, Minnesota. This morning, I took a little detour on my way to work to check on the status and it was not open. When I drove home though, a "Now Open" sign was up and the "Open" sign was glowing red.

Another "Now Open" Sign Just Spotted in Rochester, Minnesota!

The Med City has had quite a bit of action happening in the business world lately. In case you missed it, here are a few of the places that opened or closed recently in Rochester.

And today, we are adding one more business to that list.

Burggraf's Ace Hardware Helping Local Customers By Adding Multiple New Locations

Last December, Rochester residents who loved shopping at a smaller hardware store in town got a bit of a shock when they learned their favorite store was closing for good by the end of the year. It wasn't just one store though, there were two Arrow Hardware and Paint stores in Rochester that were closing and selling everything.

I heard through the internet grapevine that another hardware store was planning to take over those two locations so I kept my eyes open and have been watching the progress as signage changed, shelving was replaced, and rebuilds started.

Last month, one of those empty spots opened as a new Burggraf's Ace Hardware store at 1201 Broadway Ave S, suite 44 in Rochester, Minnesota (Get Directions). Many in the community are already familiar with this name because they have been regular shoppers at the first Rochester location that already exists and is located in the Barlow Plaza.

Third Burggraf's Ace Hardware Store is Now Open in Rochester, Minnesota

Thanks to the tip that I got over the weekend, I did a bit of snooping tonight to see if the third Burggraf's Ace Hardware at 1500 N. Broadway Ave. in Rochester, Minnesota was open. When I drove by this morning, the sign still said "Coming Soon". Tonight though, the store was open and the red "Open" sign was glowing brightly letting the public know it was time to start shopping.

This location also expanded a bit from the previous footprint by absorbing the salon that was next door as well.
