New Bakery and Restaurant in Minnesota Just Announced Its Opening Date

I so admire anyone who can create a masterpiece on a plate, especially cakes and baked goods.  I see a box of cake mix and I don't even want to get the eggs out of the fridge because I know when it comes to the final presentation, my cupcakes will look like a toddler decorated it.  That is why I never bring food to anything.

I am so thankful for the individuals in our world who are chefs and the masterminds behind pastries, cakes, and all things that are delicious.  Our state is lucky because another location full of all things you'll enjoy just announced its opening date.

Darlin' Bakery & Cafe, located at 112 North Main Street in Stewartville, just shared the news that they are having a soft opening starting Tuesday, February 27th.

✨ Our vision has come to life and it’s finally time to welcome you ALL into our new space!
This Tuesday, February 27th we will be having our soft opening with hours Tuesday-Friday of 7am-2pm 🙌🏻
We will have a somewhat limited menu available and pausing our free deliveries. We wil however still have lunch available in-store & for pick up.
🎉Don’t worry, our extended & weekend hours will be in place very soon with a GRAND OPENING date to be announced!

Many in Southeast Minnesota have already had a taste at what Darlin's will be offering because of another bakery that was in the area, Sweet House Bakery.  Located on 2nd Street in Rochester, Minnesota, Sweet House Bakery was full of amazing delights, including gorgeous cakes.  My own family would always make sure that we stopped by their booth at Thursdays Downtown as well for a little treat.

Sweet House Bakery closed the Rochester, Minnesota location in December 2023.  The original plan was to have both the Rochester bakery and the new Stewartville location but sadly, the Med City spot shuttered for good.

Where to Park if You Are Going to Darlin' Bakery & Cafe in Minnesota

The owners reminded everyone that there is not parking on the street in front of their location.  Don't let that stop you from visiting though because there is parking available in the back.

Here's What is Moving Into the Old Sweet House Bakery Location in Minnesota

A spot that locals loved for years and have been craving since all the locations closed is making a comeback. Tinn's, known for their Philly Cheesesteaks, announced recently that they are opening back up in their original location in Rochester. 

And yep, you guessed it, the spot where Sweet House Bakery was at on 2nd Street is in fact being transformed into Tinn's.
