Ever since the announcement, this Minneapolis, Minnesota bakery has been totally packed. This Minnesota bakery recently won the title of having the best cinnamon rolls in the world.

This is not my opinion, I actually have never been to this place (but now I need to go). This is based on research that a group has done dedicated to finding the best cinnamon rolls.

The group has a website called World's Best Cinnamon Rolls. Yes, a whole website dedicated to cinnamon rolls. And they've been handing out an annual award since 2018 to the bakeries with the best cinnamon rolls.

How to Determine the World's Best Cinnamon Roll

I have to be honest with you here, the people who did the research and decided the world's best cinnamon roll only look at bakeries in the US. So technically these are the best in the US but hey, if they're calling it the best in the world then I will too!

In order to decide which cinnamon roll is the best in the world for that year they, of course, go around the US and try A LOT of cinnamon rolls. They also looked at reviews from places like Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Tripadvisor.

However, they do say that the ultimate decision "always comes down to taste and overall experience."

The Best Cinnamon Roll in Minnesota (and the World)

According to World's Best Cinnamon Rolls, the best cinnamon rolls in the world for 2024 can be found at Isles Bun and Coffee in Minneapolis!

Isles Bun and Coffee can be found in Uptown and man, do their cinnamon rolls look amazing.

They shared their appreciation for the title with a post on social media saying "we love you and yes, you can definitely have extra frosting!"

They also shared that they have been really busy and to be patient if you visit to try their cinnamon rolls for yourself. They roll all of the buns by hand and have two ovens, so getting an influx of people is a little daunting, I'm sure!
