"Food is Yummy! The service was great!" - Facebook Review From Kelly H.

I've been seeing a lot of buzz on social media lately about a restaurant inside the Apache Mall in Rochester, Minnesota. I hadn’t heard of it before, so I reached out to the mall’s general manager to see if it was a new spot.

She got back to me right away, confirming it is new and had nothing but great things to say. She told me it’s a small, family-run business and that the people behind it are just incredible.

"Delicious food and wonderful customer service!" Facebook review from Crystal H.

I’ve seen so many great reviews about this new spot in the Apache Mall, so I reached out and chatted with the owner, Anil, to learn more.

Anil told me that he moved to the U.S. from Turkey with his family in 2013. A couple of years later, his friend Sidar joined him. The two have always shared a love for healthy Mediterranean food, and just last month, they finally opened their first restaurant to bring that passion to life.

Bowl N Bite is truly a family affair. Anil mentioned that both his and Sidar's families are deeply involved in the restaurant. His parents work in the back, and he added, "With Mom doing the cooking, you know it’s going to be good."

He described the concept as kind of a Mediterranean twist on Chipotle.

Customers can build their own bowls, wraps, or salads, and there’s a wide variety of fresh ingredients to pick from. They offer proteins like grilled chicken, sirloin steak, and burger bites, along with rice, veggies, and different cheeses.

In just the first month, they’ve already been busy, with lots of mall visitors and employees stopping by for a fresh, healthy meal.

The most popular order so far? The sirloin steak bowl with saffron rice, pickled red cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese.
