Opening This Weekend? The Latest on Grizzly’s Wood-Fired Grill in Rochester
Back in March, Boulder Tap House announced it was closing its Rochester doors. A statement on their Facebook page invited fans to visit their other Minnesota locations and teased a transition to a brand-new concept for the local community.
That new concept is Grizzly’s Wood-Fired Grill, an established brand known for its lodge-style atmosphere and massive menu. It's not open quite yet, but several people in town have already tried this new restaurant and the reviews are very positive.

When Is Grizzly’s Wood-Fired Grill Opening in Rochester, MN?
Grizzly’s is currently in "training mode," hosting soft-opening meals to get the staff up to speed. The early word from those who’ve managed to snag a table - The food is incredible.
I reached out to the restaurant to confirm an official opening date and haven't heard back quite yet. However, according to several people involved in the training week, the plan is to officially open the doors to the public this Friday, May 15th.
The Rochester menu isn’t live on their website yet, but I looked at their other locations and nobody is going to leave this place hungry.
