9 of the Best Pizza Chains in the Country Are in Minnesota

Pizza is arguably one of the best foods. Even if you somehow get a bad pizza, it's still pizza, and you really can't be mad about it.

I have a couple of go-tos for ordering pizza, depending on whether I'm in the mood for wood-fired, fancy, or just basic pizza. There are so many options to choose from, both local and chains alike!

The Best Pizza Chains in Minnesota

So obviously, we had to figure out which pizzas are the best of the best. Thanks to Stacker and PMQ Pizza Magazine's 2025 Pizza Power report, we've got the answers.

They looked only at chain pizza restaurants (if they did local pizza restaurants too, we'd be here all day) and determined the 30 best pizza chains in the US. Yes, there are really that many pizza chains. And there are many of them that I've never heard of!

Good news: 9 of the top 30 best pizza chains in the US can be found here in Minnesota. Quite a few of them are in the top 10, too.

Up first, we have Godfather's Pizza, coming in as the 19th best pizza chain in the US.

Next is Sbarro, right behind Godfather's, at number 18.

Pizza Ranch comes in at number 16.

Chuck E. Cheese took number 14.

Then we hop all the way up to Papa Murphy's, coming in as the 6th best pizza chain in the US.

Papa John's is the 4th best.

Little Caesars is number 3.

Pizza Hut comes in as the 2nd best pizza chain in the US.

And number one... well, you'll have to look through all 30 first to figure that one out! Yes, it's in Minnesota (and also all over the US), and it's my go-to chain pizza restaurant. Can you guess it before you look?
