
SO SAD! 6 Kittens Left In Plastic Bag At Illinois Food Bank
It blows my mind that some people treat animals like garbage. For six kittens in Rockford, they learned that very quickly this week.
It breaks my heart every time I see a post on social media about someone being cruel to animals. I can't stand seeing animal cruelty in this world, and happening right here in my own city? It's even more disheartening to know we are living amongst some very insensitive humans.

After Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford shared this story about six little kittens who were left in a plastic bag outside the Rock Valley Food Bank, I have to reiterate one thing: It's so important to get your cats spayed.

With the number of stray cats roaming around Rockford, the last thing we need is another pregnant momma. Please, please, please be considerate and get your cats spayed to prevent situations like this.

I have really struggled over making this post, but as an animal advocate I feel I must.
To whoever put these poor, helpless babies in a plastic bag and left for dead without a care in the world, this is NOT the way to do it. There are options. There is help.

Shelters might be at full capacity, but they can guide you with resources to ensure these animals aren't fending for themselves. If you can't afford to take care of them or don't have the time to raise more pets, it's your responsibility to rehome them properly.
Pets are a lifelong commitment, and they have feelings, too. Just like the post says, there's a special place waiting for the person who, clearly, lacks any sense of empathy or humanity.
