Locals Places to Donate Your Unwanted Stuff in the Rockford Area
Every year, I make a conscious effort to share my favorite thrift stores around Rockford to donate to! I feel like it's my duty to give you the best places that are local, and options if you don't ever go to Goodwill.
Sure, you could bring stuff to Goodwill or Salvation Army and call it a day. But a lot of the time, people want to support more hyper-local thrift stores that directly give back to our community in Rockford. I personally love the Rockford Restore on Harrison Avenue and Carpenter's Corner! There are so many other places to donate to, though!

Did you know there's even a free shop that helps the community in Machesney Park? I just stopped by and donated a bin of stuff a few weeks back, it's called A Mother's Love! The owner sent me a beautiful "thank you" card, too. So sweet!
Many people say after they have garage sales or get done with spring cleaning/decluttering their homes, they donate whatever they don't want to these local thrift spots. Are these some of your favorites, too?
