According to a new forecast for MyStateLine.com, today and Wednesday will have 82° and 79° highs, respectively.
It will give us a taste of warmth just before Halloween when the fall chills kick in.
Typical Halloween Weather: Cooler Nights Ahead
Halloween in Rockford is usually in the mid-50s during the day, and trick-or-treat hours often get a bit chillier, especially after the sun sets.
MyStateLine.com predicts a significant drop-off, with Thursday's Halloween temperatures expected to max out at about 55° before dropping into the traditional 40s and even 30s later into the night.
