Spook the Blocks Returns: Downtown Rockford’s Family Halloween Bash
Downtown Rockford is getting ready for one of its most beloved Halloween traditions, Spook the Blocks, returning Saturday, October 25, from noon to 4 p.m. Families are invited to put on their best costumes and enjoy a free afternoon of trick-or-treating, games, and fall fun throughout the River District.

Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Rockford
More than a dozen local businesses will be passing out candy and goodies to costumed visitors. Just look for the storefronts marked with a pumpkin sign, that’s your cue to stop in for treats, smiles, and maybe even a surprise or two.
Activities for Every Little Ghost and Goblin
Beyond trick-or-treating, families can enjoy pumpkin painting, glitter tattoos, kids’ crafts, and even meet-and-greets with princesses and mascots. Yard games and goodie bags will add to the fun, making it the perfect fall Saturday downtown.
