Outdoor amphitheater shows hit differently. Big rock tours, throwback festivals, hip-hop heavyweights, and country singalongs all feel built for this kind of space. Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre has long been one of the Chicago area’s go-to summer stops, and 2026 is shaping up to continue that tradition in a big way.

From multi-band festivals to legacy rock icons and arena-level tours, this venue covers a lot of ground stylistically… which makes it one of the more diverse outdoor calendars in the region.

A True “Plan Ahead” Venue

Unlike smaller clubs where tickets sometimes linger, amphitheater shows,  especially summer ones, can move fast. Good weather, big tours, and limited seasonal dates mean some of these nights will sell quickly.

And remember: this is the lineup as currently announced. More concerts will absolutely be added as tours finalize routing and late-summer dates fill in. I’ll continue updating in future posts as new shows drop.
