Even if your team isn't in the Super Bowl, most fans plan to watch the game. Since that's a big game, the fans need a special way to enjoy the day. Again, a lot of that has to do with traditions.

Not everyone is a super fan when it comes to the Super Bowl, but they'll still go to a party for the game to have fun. Of course, those people are more into the food, commercials, and half-time show.
One of the programming alternatives to the Super Bowl is really popular with everyone. It's the Puppy Bowl. Who doesn't love watching cute dogs play football? You can check out that game this year on Animal Planet starting at 1pm.
This year, Illinois will be represented in the Puppy Bowl by Boone, who is a rescue from One Tail At A Time in Chicago. He is one of 142 dogs participating in this year's event. Our local dog will be playing for Team Ruff during the game.
The shelter will be hosting a watch party for the Puppy Bowl. It will be held at Park and Field in Chicago. It will be happening from noon to 4pm. It's a benefit for One Tail At A Tail animal shelter.
