It's not even just the really expensive nice vehicles and the glamorous neighborhoods anymore. Car thieves in Illinois will steal just about anything from anywhere as long as it runs. You've got to be super careful about where and how you leave your ride unattended. If you turn your back for just a second, it could easily be gone when you look again.

The latest incident involves a ride-share passenger. A woman in Chicago ordered a pick-up. The driver had to make a quick stop to fill the vehicle up with gas. He left the lady in the car alone for a couple of minutes to put in the fuel.

Right in the middle of the fill-up, the suspect jumps in the driver's seat and takes off. She stole the ride-share vehicle. It was a pretty dumb move because the company has all of her personal information from when she ordered the ride. This woman won't have to worry about rides for a while.
