Discover Tinley Park’s Magical Alpine Village Holiday Display
Did you know that every December, one home in Tinley Park, Illinois transforms into an Alpine Village that families can come experience for free? You have to add it to this year's holiday must-see list!
Tinley Park's Alpine Village House
Homemade presents and crafts are one of my favorite things about the holiday season, and I spend the majority of the fall making things for other families to enjoy.
I've made thousands of ornaments, signs, and wreaths over the years, but the one thing I've never made before? An entire Christmas village in my driveway that looks like it came straight out of a storybook!
Say hello to Tinley Park, Illinois' beloved Alpine Village House:
That picture may look like the entrance to a full-blown Christkindlmarket, but the truth is, it's just the driveway of the Deal home in Tinley Park!
Homeowner Jason Deal spent his free time constructing an incredibly detailed and beautiful mini Alpine Village in his driveway for the enjoyment of his community, but the awesomeness doesn't stop there.
The Alpine Village also hands out free hot chocolate, features live ornament making, has a cool Christmas train to watch, AND collects donations for The Salvation Army and Feline Fine Cat Rescue.
You guys, my mind is absolutely blown by this man's talent and generous heart.
The Alpine Village is located at 18031 Flamingo Drive in Tinley Park, and is open for your viewing pleasure Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. through December. Don't forget to bring some coats, hats, and gloves to donate when you go!
