Hands-on Dinosaur Fun Lights Up Rivers Edge Convention Center
There was a prehistoric party at River's Edge Convention Center this past weekend when Dinosaur Adventure came to St. Cloud.
The event was held on Saturday and Sunday and featured a ton of animatronic dinosaurs, activities for kids, bounce houses and, of course, a giant gift shop for dinosaur lovers.
Parking was easy in the free downtown ramp and getting into the event was easy and fast. We were greeted by several giant, life-sized dinosaurs. For my eight-year-old former dinosaur enthusiast it was a cool opportunity for him to see some of his old heroes up close.
My two-year-old wasn't so sure but warmed up to the dinosaurs once he was fully assured that they were just 'decorations.'
In addition to the dino displays, there were a bunch of activities for kids like dinosaur scooters, a 'mine' where kids could dig for fossils, bounce houses, a coloring area and other interactive areas.
This was Dinosaur Adventure's second visit to the Granite City. There has been no word yet as to whether they will return again in 2026.
