Jerry Williams named interim head of Chamber
Jerry Williams has another gig. The former Rochester School District Superintendent and current president
of the Rochester Public Utilities Board has been tapped to serve as interim president of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. He will hold that position while the organization searches for a new president. Former longtime president John Wade resigned earlier this month. Williams has been involved in numerous community activities since his retirement as superintendent, including chairing the committee that recommended an extension of the city’s sales tax to fund several projects.
