The Leader-Telegram reports jurors deliberated about two hours Tuesday in the trial of Doctor David Van de Loo before recessing for the night. Prosecutors and the defense agreed the only point of contention is whether Van de Loo's actions were sexual assault or medically appropriate. In closing arguments, Wisconsin Assistant Attorney General Karie Cattanach said Van de Loo had sexual contact with 15 of his male patients "under the guise of a medical exam."

Defense attorney Stephen Hurley argued that none of the alleged victims were lying, but that Mayo Clinic Health System, their parents and the media led the boys to believe they had been sexually assaulted.
