Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) - Kasson-Mantorville has advanced at the 2015 Class 3A girls State High School Basketball Tournament.

The KoMets opened the tournament Wednesday afternoon with a 62-55 win over New Prague. Kristin Scott of Kasson-Mantorville was the top scorer in the game with 23 points, while the entire team shot 50-percent from the field and went 18-21 from the free-throw line.

The KoMets will face Park Center in the semi-finals tomorrow at Williams Arena. The tip-off is scheduled at 2 PM.
