Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan for third on the NBA's all-time scoring list during Sunday's 100-94 win over the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

Bryant entered the game needing nine points to pass Jordan's career mark of 32,292.  He finished with 26 points on 7-of-20 shooting.   He needs 4600 points to catch Karl Malone on the alltime list.  He trails alltime scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by about 6,000 points.

Carlos Boozer added 22 points and 13 rebounds off the bench for Los Angeles, which has won three straight for the first time this season.

Shabazz Muhammad netted a game-high 28 off the bench for Minnesota in defeat.
