Rochester, MN (KROC AM News ) - A public send-off is scheduled Sunday for the Rochester Lourdes High School Winter Drumline.

The unit will be competing next week in the World Guard International World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

There will be 22 Lourdes students competing this year. The school says the unit is one of 215 percussion ensembles representing forty states and four countries at this year’s event. Lourdes High School is currently ranked as one of the top ten drumlines in the Independent Class A level in the nation.

The public is invited to their send-off show on Sunday, April 10 from 7:00-7:45 p.m. in the Lourdes High School gymnasium.  The show will feature their competitive performance, celebrations of our musicians, and a time to visit with the percussionists.  Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
