ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The political plans of Minnesota Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon won't be a mystery much longer.

The Democrat planned to declare Tuesday whether she'd join Gov. Mark Dayton in a bid for a second, four-year term. She has been noncommittal about another run and informed Dayton of her plans in a private meeting Monday afternoon. Prettner Solon didn't return calls or an email after.

An advisory doesn't list Dayton as attending the news conference, which is occurring in his office suite.

She is a former state senator from Duluth whom Dayton picked as his running mate in 2010.

In Minnesota, the two office holders run on a joint ticket.
