Court documents show that 41-year-old Neeraj Chopra took a blanket from his backpack and draped it over his lap and partially covered the right leg of the 16-year-old boy. Prosecutors say Chopra then put his hand under the blanket and began inappropriately touching the victim. He ignored the teen’s multiple requests to stop.

Chopra was convicted by a jury last summer. The incident happened during a flight from Boston to Minneapolis.
