Buffalo, MN (KROC AM News) - The man accused of opening fire inside a health clinic in Buffalo, MN also detonated two explosive devices during his two minutes of terror.

Murder, attempted murder and other charges were filed Thursday against 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich.

The criminal complaint says he arrived at the Allina clinic at 11:52 am Tuesday and the first call of the shooting was made two minutes later. Ulrich himself called 911 at 11:58 am to say he wanted to surrender.

Officers took him into custody and recovered the 9mm handgun he had used. They also found he had two loaded 9mm magazines and a bag of 29 bullets in his possession.  Eleven spent 9mm shell casings were found at the scene.

The complaint says Ulrich detonated two improvised explosive devices, one at the entrance and the other near a desk. An undetonated device was also found at the scene.

The complaint says the five people who had been shot “were screaming for help.”

One of the victims later died. The complaint says one 9mm round struck the victim "in the abdomen, passing through the liver and spine, before exiting the back of this victim."

She has been identified as Lindsay Overbay, a 37-year-old mother of two young children. She and her husband Donald lived in Rochester while she worked at Mayo Clinic. She later took the job in Buffalo.
