You heard that right! Adam Thielen, who led the Minnesota Vikings in receiving with 967 yards, will be back in purple according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This is a big signing for the Vikings, after Cordarrelle Patterson signed with the Oakland Raiders and Charles Johnson signed with the Carolina Panthers. Thielen's deal is worth $27 million over the next three years with $11 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Ben Goessling.

This is also huge for Adam Thielen, the Detroit Lakes native, and Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate, who came into the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent.

Thielen will look to line up opposite of Stefon Diggs for the Vikings next season, as the team's number 2 receiver.

The Vikings also signed Terrance Newman today to a one-year deal. So, after the slow start to free agency, the Vikings have finally re-signed a couple players to help shape the roster. Newman will be a key part of the defense, while quarterback Sam Bradford will be looking in Thielen's direction plenty on the offensive side of the ball.
