INDIANAPOLIS - Minnesota State and Minnesota Duluth will represent the NSIC in the NCAA Super Region Three playoff as the bracket was released by the NCAA Sunday afternoon. Both MSU and UMD finished with 11-0 records and a share of the NSIC Championship.

Minnesota State, which is making its third straight NCAA playoff appearance, earned the second seed in the region and a first round bye. MSU will host either third seeded Pittsburg State (MIAA) or sixth seeded Harding (GAC) on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Minnesota Duluth will be the four seed and will host fifth seeded Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, Nov. 22 in Duluth, Minn. This marks the fourth time that NMSU and UMD will meet in the NCAA Playoffs since 2001. UMD defeated NMSU in the 2008 National Championship game and again in the 2010 national semifinals. NMSU defeated UMD 45-21 last year in the second round of the playoffs. If UMD wins they will travel to top seeded Ouachita Baptist (GAC), which earned the region's top seeded after finishing its season a perfect 10-0.
