NJCAA Division Three Volleyball Championships In Rochester

The Rochester Amateur Sports Commission together with Rochester Community & Technical College will be hosting the NJCAA DIII Volleyball National Championship this week (Nov. 14-15) at the UCR Regional Sports Center on the campus of RCTC.  RASC is hosting this tournament for the 13^th consecutive year and finally has the privilege of having the host team in the tournament.  #1 nationally ranked team – Rochester Community & Technical College will be the #2 seed for the tournament and playing at 11am on Friday, vs Davidson County Community College – the #7 seed.

Five of the eight teams are nationally ranked in the top ten in the country.  The defending National Champ – Madison College will be the #1 seed for the tournament.  Games will get underway at 11am on Friday, as all 8 teams will play two games Friday.  Saturday will begin at 10am, with the Championship game beginning at 2:30pm.  For updated scores, a complete list of competing teams and brackets - you can check out the website at www.rochsports.com/2014njcaavolleyball
