Red Wing's Ryan Boldt has been named to the Big 10 baseball player of the week.

The sophomore outfielder for Nebraska went 10 for 16 at the plate and scored six runs as the Huskers won three of four in a series at BYU. The 2013 Red Wing High School graduate currently leads Nebraska with a .625 batting average, a .750 slugging percentage, and a .684 on-base percentage.

This is the first time Boldt, who played for the Rochester Honkers last summer,  has won a Big Ten Weekly Award.
