Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been charged with lying during his trial about raping a woman in 2016.

An Olmsted County jury acquitted 23-year-old Oddie Oker in November of two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct. He was convicted of a lesser charge and sentenced to a year in jail.

Before he was sentenced, Oker was also ordered to undergo a psychosexual evaluation.

That’s when he is accused of telling an evaluator that he had lied in court about not sexually penetrating the victim. He is also accused of making the same admission to his probation officer, saying he didn’t admit it earlier because of the consequences he would face.

Had he been convicted of the felony charges that involve penetration, he would have faced a possible prison sentence.

Oker is now charged with perjury, which is a felony. He was arraigned Thursday and ordered back to court for another hearing on April 18th.
