Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to driving nearly three times the posted speed limit on a local street.
A Rochester police officer clocked 22-year-old Alexander Maplethorpe at 84 mph in the 30 mph zone on Assisi Dr. NW around 1:00 am Jan. 9, 2021.

Maplethorpe pleaded guilty last Friday and was ordered to pay a total of $290 in fines and fees.
The case was put on hold because of the pandemic.
