Rochester Police Issue Community Notification For High Risk Offender
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department has issued a community notification concerning a high-risk sex offender.
The notice indicates 36-year-old Joshua Lee Jones has moved into a residence at the Olmsted County campus next to the Rochester Federal Medical Center. He was released from jail into an intensive supervision program on Tuesday.
His criminal history includes sexual contact with a teenager involving the use of force. Jones was convicted of 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2004 and has had multiple convictions for violating predatory offender registration requirements that have resulted in both prison and jail sentences.
