The Rochester Police Department is asking the public’s help in trying to locate a missing Rochester Community and Technical College student.

Capt. Casey Moilanen says there is no sign she was taken against her will but her family is concerned about her sudden disappearance.

Moilanen says 20-year-old Priyanka Dipak Patel was last seen Monday morning when she met her brother at RCTC. He returned at 3:00 PM Monday to pick her up but there was no sign of her - and the family has not heard from her since.

Moilanen says it suspected she may have gone to Chicago where she had been living until January when she relocated to Grand Meadow to live with her family.

Moilanen says anyone with information about Patel’s whereabouts is asked to contact RPD at 507-328-6935 or email jvalere@rochestermn.gov.
