Rochester Woman Seriously Hurt After Being Hit By Semi-Truck

Pine Island, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was seriously injured late Monday night after being hit by a semi-truck on Highway 52.
The State Patrol says the truck was driving north on the highway near Pine Island around 11:00 pm when "Semi and pedestrian collided."
The preliminary report indicates the truck was “traveling at highway speed” when the woman was hit.
The woman was identified as 23-year-old Julia Hoge. The State Patrol says Hoge was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The truck was driven by 57-year-old James Getty of Urbana, Iowa.
