Zumbro Falls, MN (KROC AM News) -The death of a rural Zumbro Falls woman during the July 4th weekend has been ruled a suicide.

Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh says deputies were called to a residence around 11:00 PM July 4th and found “an unresponsive female.”

Because of a gunshot wound, the sheriff contacted the Minnesota BCA to assist in the investigation.

The sheriff Monday reported the death of 34-year-old Mary Tesmer has been ruled a suicide “due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
