SE Minnesota Forecast – 4 to 8 Inches of Snow SaturDAY and Night.
The National Weather Service in LaCrosse has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from noon on January 23rd thru January 24th at 6 AM. We should expect cold wind chills Saturday and four to eight inches of snow Saturday and Saturday night. The light fluffy kind.
According to their latest forecast for SE Minnesota (4:49 PM Friday),
- Saturday - Snow, mainly after noon. High near 21. Wind chill values as low as -8.Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
- Saturday Night - Snow, mainly before 4am. Steady temperature around 20. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
- Total fluffy snowfall accumulations will range from 2 to 6 inches.
Though the forecast calls for four to six inches, it could be higher in some areas. Obviously the roads could get slippery and dangerous. This means you'll need to watch out for poor drivers that lack the good sense to slow down. Use this method, and you'll be much safer.
Slow to start, slow to speed up, slow to slow down, slow to stop.
Before you drive, make sure to check our app for road conditions. Just look for the little red car.
