The housing market is crazy! I'm actually looking to buy a home, and while my budget is nowhere near 1 million, it's still fun to see what that huge amount of money could get you.

Today we are looking at an Iowa home vs a Los Angeles home. Both are still million-dollar homes! So I wouldn't be able to get them anyways.

Here are the two spots we are comparing:

3156 Lindo St, Los Angeles, CA 90068

Cost: 1,495,000

1,384 sqft | 2 bed | 3 bath

VS

3300 Fuller Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50265

Cost: $1,163,133

Right off the bat one thing is very clear, the LA home is much smaller AND at one point cost 300K more! Even with that significant price difference I still think the Iowa home is much nicer, but whoever took the pictures of the Los Angeles home did an absolutely amazing job!

About the homes

The LA home was built in 1936 while the Iowa home was built in 1981.

This immaculate, comfortably elegant home offers the finest level of taste nestled in a tranquil setting. The bright, spacious interior blends ideally with private front and rear yards for expanded living. A charming bay window and wood burning fireplace accent the Living Room. Off the formal dining room is a Viking kitchen, clean and classic featuring marble counters, custom cabinets and a quaint garden window.

The Iowa home (built in 1981).

Situated on a prime 2.35-acre wooded lot in WDM, this sprawling contemporary designed by famed Iowa architect Ray Crites, boasts a Calif contemporary feel–you’ve seen nothing quite like it! Built to suit the serious entertainer & art collector. Highlights: Southern exposure floor-to-ceiling windows across back of the home, glass walls, heated travertine floors, commercial kitchen w/ Viking/Sub Zero appl & a large Butler Room (w/ dumb waiter). The expansive, open-concept living areas extend living/entertaining options outdoors w/ stone patios, lush landscaping, firepit, water features & total privacy. Perfect spot for a future pool! The Master Suite has fab custom closet & coffee bar. Bedrms 2 & 3 are connected by a glass-floor loft! 4-car heated garage, Lutron lighting, irrigation & endless storage.

Ghosts Of The Station

Today we will be looking at three ghost sightings, and the spots they were seen at.

These three "Ghosts" could all be the same one or three different ones. Though I still think the Music video ghost is by far the creepiest. As far as we know that was the only figure we ever caught on film, and not just in a picture.
