Glencoe, MN (KROC AM News) - A traffic crash involving a dump truck and a school bus west of the Twin Cities sent several children to the hospital.

The crash happened near Glencoe around 7:30 am Tuesday.

The State Patrol says the bus was driving south on Highway 22 when it was rear-ended by the dump truck. There were 16 children on the bus and the State Patrol says 5 of them were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two drivers were not hurt. The driver of the bus was identified as 63-year-old Mary Bielke of Glenco. The dump truck driver was identified as 71-year-old Gary Altricher of Cushing.
