ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — A University of Minnesota Duluth student who suffered severe frostbite after spending the night outside in subzero temperatures has left the hospital and is back at her family's home in St. Cloud.

Alyssa Lommel returned home Monday, according to a post by her mother, Teri, on the family's CaringBridge website.

Nurses and physical therapists will continue working with Lommel in the family's home, according to the post.

The St. Cloud Times (http://on.sctimes.com/1iPSFvA ) reports Teri Lommel wrote in the post that she and Alyssa are glad to be home.

Alyssa Lommel has been hospitalized since she was found unconscious on a neighbor's porch in Duluth on Dec. 7.

Her severe injuries led to partial amputations of Lommel's hands and feet. She most recently was staying at St. Cloud Hospital.
